About the Author

Jay Kamaladasa was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He has a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA) with a focus on developing materials for neuromorphic computing. He spent a decade at Intel as a technologist in reliability.

Some of his interests include Buddhist philosophy, the many interpretations of Quantum Physics, theories of mind and the emerging field of complexity science.

Outside work and writing, Jay loves to travel and dabble in a little bit of west coast swing/blues dancing.
